Lindsay's Wedding

This picture just happened this way....it was not set up.

Luncheon at Moonshine
Well, I have to say I am excited to have a new brother-in-law. Alex and Lindsay got married this weekend in Austin and it was good. My sissy is very happy and it makes me feel complete inside. I know they will have a wonderful journey ahead. It was fun to see family and friends and meeting the Marsh family also. I did get a new nickname this weekend from Alex's dad John....It's now "Mo" Mo-randa. He is the best! Amy, Alex's sister cried buckets.....I mean buckets of tears. She is such a doll. I think everyone rested yesterday after a couple days of fun, cocktails and excitement. Congrats to Alex and Lindsay!

Baby Z has arrived

Baby Z has arrived. He made it into the world Monday November 2nd at 1:03pm. He weighed 8.1 and was 19.5 inches long. He is SO adorable. I'm not partial to him or anything....
His Auntie Miranda loves him so much....(not really his auntie, but I like to think so.)
Christine has been such a trooper through it all and is doing well. I cannot wait to see him again on Friday. I saw him yesterday for a bit, but I miss him already. =)
I will attach the first picture of many, I'm sure.
I hope that God will give Baby Scott Michael Zuehlke a wonderful journey in life. If anyone ever hurts him, his auntie is coming after them....LOL.

Updating....

Christine and Scott's Celebration Baby Shower 9-12-09
Donna, Phillip and I in San Diego touring the museums.
So the ongoing joke with Phillip and I is he ALWAYS wants me to take his picture when we are traveling. So of course, in Central Park, he asked me to take his picture....funny thing is I have MANY pictures of him and he never seems to ask me if I want my picture taken. He's a bug!
Phillip, Lindsay, Alex and I went to a Mets game. The new stadium is nice!

So, I've been really bad with the updating lately... After giving 3 showers, I needed a break. It was fun at all of them and I know Christine and Lindsay got wonderful things. We have been traveling in the midst of it all and working lots. We are trying to get pregnant, so everyone pray! I hope that being in my mid 30's is not going to hurt me. =) We are now counting down the days for Baby Z to get here. Christine said it will be earlier than expected, so I cannot wait to see him. His Auntie Miranda is going crazy to spoil him. Mom's house is coming along and will be done mid December, so that's exciting to have her here again soon. Lindsay's wedding is Nov. 21st, so we are all gathering decor and fun ideas for that. I am looking forward to the cool front we are expecting this evening/tomorrow. I never thought I'd say that, but after an outrageous electricity bill this summer, I need the a/c to have a break.

Shower and Homefront

Christine's first shower was Saturday, Aug. 8th. It was a great turn out. She got some wonderful things and it was so good to see everyone that showed up. Baby Z is definitely going to be a bit spoiled. After a lot of stress, everything was good and fun. I hope CZ enjoyed it and has recoverd as it took me sleeping ALL day Sunday to recover.
The Sept. 12th shower should be just as good and fun. I know Baby Z will enjoy the goodies.
On the home front:
We finally got our fountain going in the back yard...YAY! It is done with natural rock and looks great. It's so relaxing to sit out and listen to it. The dogs still don't know what to make of it though.
Mom is looking for houses, but nothing yet. Hopefully in the next few weeks....

Lindsay and I at my wedding, March 23, 2007

My sissy is getting married in November and is making me feel really old...
I love her to death and know that she and Alex will be very happy together. We were in Austin 2 weeks ago planning some details for their wedding and got to meet Alex's parents, and I know now where Alex gets his charm. He is a wonderful guy and treats my sister like a princess. As much as I feel old with her getting married, I know that she is in the best hands ever and will be taken care of.
I look forward to being her Matron of Honor and watching her take her next step in life. I wish them both the very best and love them both.
There's only one thing Alex....bring my sissy home to Texas!! =)

There's nothing like eating with the girls....

Boy trouble...these 4 guys! They brought all us girls together as friends and we all enjoy getting together. Thanks guys!

Mayan Riveria-2007...Christine, Karli, Pepper and Me

Although we got too much sun this week...we had a great time. The resort was great. We rode ATV's thru the jungle and swam in a 50 degree spring in caves. It was great....we all had dirt rings around our eyes from our sunglasses. We were so dirty, wet, and muddy from riding in the jungle, but had a great time!

March 2007

One of our engagement pictures. March 2007.... West University in Houston

Jada, Gunner and Zoey...they need some shades.

Mother's Day 2007 at Granny and Grampy's house. They all need sunglasses in this sun. Zoey is the smallest in this picture and now seems to be the biggest almost....I need to cut her off the food.

Granny's biggest fan....

I don't know who loves him more...Granny or Lindsay. Lindsay wants me to ship him to CT and Granny calls on the phone to talk to him. Funny thing is...as soon as he hears their voices, he starts barking like crazy! He knows who he's talking to. He's telling them to come spoil him some more...

Jada and Zoey tired after chasing birds.

Zoey has 3 pins in her legs...for a dog that doesn't use one of her legs and is "gimpy" as Z calls her, she can out run them all. She loves to chase birds and is the happiest dog I've ever met. She loves to lay on her back ALL the time. We think it's to get the pressure off her legs, but we aren't quite sure. She has a great personality.
Jada is my shadow. She will go anywhere and everywhere I go. It must be the mother in her. I don't care what people think about dogs, but they are smart...we call her Jada, J-bear, Bear, JJ, and J and she knows her many names and comes to all of them.
Now if you put Jada and Zoey together, they can care less about anyone else...they are TROUBLE!

What we are up to....

Phillip and I have been busy traveling, working and working around the house.
Phillip just returned from the College World Series in Omaha with his dad. It was a good time for them to spend together for a few days. He has been traveling a lot with work and working in our back yard with planters. Now that it is getting hot, he's slowing down and traveling more...I can't say that I blame him.
I have been working a lot myself and doing well with my job. I am at 100% of goal and happy! The hard work has paid off. I have been refinishing furniture and doing my quarterly cleaning around the house.
I am planning 3 showers right now, 2 for Christine and 1 for Lindsay, so I am busy with that. It's so fun seeing my Best Friend have a baby and my baby sister get married, but I never imagined they would plan to do it a week apart and plan my year for me. I love them both dearly and would not have it any other way...
The dogs have enjoyed granny around lately as she is house hunting in Katy....YAY! She's moving back soon. It's been busy to say the least, but all fun.
